Sooo Much Going On

Since school let out things haven't slowed down one bit...
Let's see...
I went to Chicago for a week to see family... both of my parents grew up in the Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana area...I got to spend some time with my grandparents and see tias/titis, tios and cousins I hadn't seen in a ages...
While we were there we went to the Harry Potter Exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry... I loved it but I am also an abnormally HUGE Harry Potter Fan and I'm not ashamed, quite proud actually...No cameras were allowed which made me very sad, but it was quite an experience to be able to see all the props and costumes used in the movies... We also went to a White Sox game, because it was too hard to get Cubs tickets and, well... my dad is a HUGE Sox fan...we also went to my cousin's daughter's Quince...we had a great time...danced a lot... I loved the trip I hope to be able to go back soon...you can never spend too much time in Chicago

This is a pic of my cousins and my Tia, My parents and myself at the Quince...

When we got home from Chicago my dad decided that we needed a new puppy so after a bit of searching we brought home the newest Tellez dog... We Tellez have a long held tradition of P names for our dogs... our first Weim was Princess('89-'02) then we got Paxon('93-04), Percy('96-'08), Pinky('03-stolen '09), Parker('05), and Polydeuces('07)...Joey fell off the boat when he named his mastiff Austin and well the new Austin isn't a Tellez...So we got a beautiful Weim puppy and we named her.....PENELOPE!!! She is adorable... see for yourself...

This past weekend was crazy and fun...I drove up to Austin to spend some much needed quality time with my Best Friend Claudia...we went out Friday night... something we hadn't done together since God knows when... Saturday we spent floatin' (or as the sign by the river said TOOBIN') the river...not the Guadalupe, but the Comal as Louie so kindly pointed out to me... didn't get as burnt as I thought I would (woo hoo)... then on Sunday we went up to Houston to see NO DOUBT.... it was an amazing show... they definitely deliver... We sang our hearts out that night...

Now I'm looking forward to finally doing some sewing for Ava, Aurora, Brianna and Brookie and of course Emma and Lori....ahhh so many little girls...it will be fun
